Attention, new regulations

Rule

The regulation in force is that of the French Triathlon Federation. It can be consulted on site at the Organization’s booth or on http://www.fftri.com/.

Refereeing:

Triathlon is an individual sport. It does not allow any external assistance.
The code of the road must be respected in the cyclist part and the wearing of the helmet is obligatory.
Registration for the competition applies to acceptance of this regulation. In the event of non-compliance with the FFTRI regulation, the triathlete shall be subject to penalties notified by the presentation of a yellow card (warning), a yellow card with a request for a stop (and reconformity) or red (disqualification, the bib number has referee and stop the competition).
When has the cyclist part, the referee can use a blue card (shelter – suction, distance between two competitors 7m in length and the lateral distance is defined by the width of the element placed in front) a competitor has 25 s to perform his overtaking. The athlete must have his initiative and under the control of the arbitral body, stop in the penalty area.
It is located at the beginning of the course CaP.
The duration of the stop is 1mn for the format XS and S and 2mn for the format M. automatic disqualification 2 blue cards on the distance XS a M 
Any decision of an arbitrator is without appeal.

Other settlement points:

-extensions are forbidden on young events
– during transitions, nudity is forbidden
-in the transitional area, travel with the bike is obligatory on foot, bicycle by hand, helmet on the head, tight chin strap
-the wearing of the helmet is forbidden on the pedestrian part
-No rolling or running shirtless
-port of the bib at the rear on the cyclist and at the front on the pedestrian part
– 100m before arrival (bib and trifunction).
Any competitor arriving without his/her bib number visible may not be classified
– no use of video, audio, telephone or other electronic equipment based on listening or communication
-sanctioned offences: voluntary discomfort, early departure, cut-off course, external assistance, indecent attire, bike plaque or bib, not well positioned, outrageous attitude towards an arbitrator, official or volunteer
-respect of cleanliness areas within the framework of sustainable development (prohibition of throwing waste, equipment or keeping out of cleanliness areas)
– time limit set at 5.30 pm for departure CaP and 1h for the swimming part

The water temperature will be displayed in the AT 1h before departure

The minimum permissible temperature for young events is 16 degrees. In case of lower temperature the tests would be transformed into Duathlon.
